Direct Support Professional
Responsibilities
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) interacts with each consumer in a variety of potential settings, including community homes, family and individual homes and generic community settings. The DSP will be providing personal care, instruction, guidance, mentoring and companionship, according to the individual’s Person-Centered Plan/Individual Support Plan (ISP). The DSP provides a level of care that enhances the health, safety and contentment of every consumer served.
Qualifications
- Age 18 or older.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Criminal History Clearance.
- Child Abuse Clearance.
- Valid Driving License.
- Experience in Human Services preferred but nor required.
